Today, God answered our prayers and we woke to the clouds having lifted and dome glorious sunshine. :)

On our arrival at Milford Sound we caught our tour boat "The Milford Sovereign" and went in a tour of Milford Sound right out to the Tasman Sea. SPECTACULAR! The mountains are shear cliffs into the water, there was lots of beautiful waterfalls. The tour guide told us Milford Sound was having a mini-drought as they had not had any rain for 62 hours, so done of the waterfalls were quite weak in comparison to normal. They get approximately 6m of rainfall a year!!

The afternoon was spent driving back to Manapouri which we passed through briefly yesterday, but we saw many more mountains today. They were all hiding from us yesterday. We drove past the "River Anduin" near Te Anau for all those Lord of the Rings fans out there. Also I have now completed watching the films and loved them!

We are staying at a campsite owned by an elderly couple which is quite quirky in character, especially with the line of Morris Minor's on the site. She has lent us a mouse-trap for the night though :S
