Yorkshire Sculpture Park - Autumn 2014

My family and I went on a day trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park a few weekends ago, when we left home the weather was glorious so we arrived had lunch and then guess what...
...yeah, the heavens opened!!!

After a little while it seemed to dry up a little, so we still managed to enjoy a bit of a walk around though it was muddy and wet. Here are some of the photos I captured...

A local walk to Tong & Fulneck's Moravian Settlement

My husband and I have been trying to get out and about a bit more recently but especially in our local area...

I discovered a short walk on the AA website - Tong & Fulneck's Moravian Settlement, which was quite close to home, so off we went on Saturday afternoon (just managing to mostly avoid the heavy rain showers) to do some adventuring locally.

The beautiful bluebells by Pudsey Beck

It was a lovely walk and I learnt lots about the local history through this walk as well (more can be read about the interesting historic discoveries HERE).

More Winter Wonderland Adventures in Wales at Break-its-neck Waterfall

Over the Christmas period we visited my sister-in-law's beautiful new woodland abode...although I seem to omitted to take any photos of her beautiful woodland owl-y cabin.

But we had a little opportunity to visit some nice places like...

Break-it's-neck waterfall

...Break-it's-neck waterfall...

...which was in a moss coated woodland...

...the moss was so pretty close up...

...but created quite an eerie atmosphere from a distance...

...there were even magic mushrooms...

...but it was great to get some fresh winter Wales air.
